Trinidad utilizes triangle nets to represent the sky and the sense of spirituality found in the southwest landscape of the US-Mexico border. The net functions as a symbol for the sky and the knots as the stars while the shape of the net references the holy trinity. Nets are are suspended from the ceiling and pulled towards two separate groupings of rocks. The nets were naturally dyed with materials found on either side of the border.
